In this super fun 1-day event we will be learning about harvesting natural materials from the land, as well as preparing and applying natural clay plasters as we continue on our "Shoe House" project!  We will also prepare and lay down a section of Earthen Floor in the space.  This is an introductory course ~ are you curious if Natural Building is for you?  This is a perfect opportunity to "taste-test" before making the dive on a longer course.

Cost for the 1-day workshop is set up as a sliding scale, $65 - $125, and includes organic lunch from our gardens.  In keeping with our mission, we offer a sliding scale to promote equity and inclusion.

ABOUT THE FARM: Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm was founded in 2010 and specializes in teaching earthen building concepts, and producing fresh herbs, herbal tea blends and seasonal organic produce using poly-cropping, companion planting and bio-intensive farming practices. Through the permaculture lens, concepts of Earth Care; People Care; and Fair Share are played out in the gardens and in the community that we serve.
