About the event
In this 3-day course Brenda and Frankie team up to instruct on how to put an awesome, artsy earthen wall into any space in record time! We'll be covering rubble trenching, rocking 18" high and 16 feet long wall and then learning to raise salvaged pallets and sculpting over them, utilizing harvestable materials. We will lecture on the elements of COB, how to harvest these materials, and everyone will get plenty of hands-on practice mixing cob in a variety of strategies.
All students will have the opportunity to practice, so that your HANDS LEARN, and you will be quite capible of making something with cob by the end of the weekend, even all by yourself!
This workshop is inclusive of daily lunches ~ mostly organic and from our gardens. We will also provide snacks in the mornings and afternoons. Students willl have access to our outdoor community kitchen to get…
